Temple Session Update, etc.

Hello!
In addition to participating in an endowment session at the Monticello Temple, I have made arrangements for the young men and young women of our family to participate in Baptisms and Confirmations at the same time (10:00 am). If any of you have family names that you would like the youth to assist with, that would be great! (Mike and I have a few from the Christensen side!)

The extended Lyman family is required to provide priesthood support in order to make this happen. So, I am asking for five brethren to participate with the youth. Please email me as soon as possible if you would be interesting in assisting with the Youth baptisms. (Otherwise, we'll need to cancel.)

Additionally, some of you may be aware that Kent and Becky Lyman's daughter Katherine will be receiving her endowments during our family temple session. How exciting it will be to have so many of her extended family present.

Please email me as soon as possible to let me know if your are going on a session, helping with the youth, or are a youth participating in the baptism. I just had this impression that Granny and Grandpa Lyman are so pleased that we are attending the temple. Looking forward to seeing you all in person!

Look What We Found...

Mike and I are now in Blanding. We've spent the last couple of mornings cleaning out the infamous 'Green Shed' at Doug and Caroline's.

Under a towel, we found Grandpa Lyman's assay equipment, which measures ore. It is in fairly good condition.

Assay - do you know the meaning?
Someone in the family has expressed an interest in this equipment, so I am attempting to reach him. If he isn't interested, we'll probably bring it to the reunion and invite anyone interested to write down their name, and then do a drawing for the equipment. Mike and I would like to see it in a place other than the dusty, green shed!
